Description
High quality sheet jointing made of PTFE filled with particles of silica distributed evenly throughout the compound. Unlike laminated sheets of PTFE, the special production process of Jointex® red makes the mechanical properties isotropic in the plane of the seal leading to excellent resistance to creep and optimum sealing capacities, even at high temperatures.

Applications
Jointex® products are recommended for reducing leakages and for use with chemically aggressive substances. Ideal for the chemical and petrol-chemical industry, paper mills, food and pharmaceutical industry. Suitable for all kinds of fluid except melted alkaline metals, hydrofluoric acids, fluorine gas and compounds producing these substances.
