The Texpack® Silitex textile products consist of yarns with a high content of silicates, the filaments of which have an average diameter of 6 micron. The Texpack® Silitex products are asbestos free, inorganic, antiseptic, fireproof and do not contain any toxic substances or heavy metals capable of causing irritation. They are excellent replacements for ceramic textile products for almost all industrial applications requiring a high level thermal and mechanical resistance: they are extremely resistant to high temperatures (up to 1200°C).
