CHARACTERISTICS
Braid packing consisting of synthetic fibre yarn treated yarn-by-yarn with pure dispersed PTFE and an inert lubricant, with diagonal interweaving guaranteeing perfect dimensional stability. Used in the place of blue asbestos braid packing as it has higher mechanical strength and a lower friction factor, thus avoiding scratches to the shaft typical of asbestos and glass.
